Apps Network

The wide acceptance of smartphones has resulted in remarkable advancement in communication technology. Many Apps such as whatsapp, hike, telegram, snapchat, imo etc., are now available in market that offers instant messaging money service for free. Some of the common features found in them are individual, group, broadcast messaging and invite new users. All of these service providers are competing each other by introducing innovative features to increase their customer base. Due to this, a situation might arise where two (or a group of) users who wants to communicate each other may be using different IM apps. For example, Consider a team of 40 members working together for a project, it is important for the team leader to coordinate his team by constantly keeping the members motivated and guided through a proper communication medium. The only solution is to make the whole team agree to use a common messaging App, which is indirectly compelling at least few of members to use an App that he/she might have uninstalled or unwilling to use for some reason. The best solution to counter this issue is to use dedicated apps for dedicated communication use cases, which is exactly what we, M&M is presenting before you!

In view of the foregoing concept, we have expanded our perception to a next level where multi level communication models can be implemented using multiple mobile applications. The primary motivation towards this upgrade was due to the following observations in the case of larger organisations, industries, institutions, government departments etc.,  :

  • Apps must positively interact with users by catering them with relevant and useful information. Hence, prompt updation of data is needed. But in the case of Industries or Departments or Organisations with multiple branches, subdivisions, administrative hierarchies, sources where the data arises are different.
  • So far, we have discussed about individual, group, broadcast messaging. But in some of the practical cases, for example, in a department or organisation with a hierarchical administrative structure, a messaging system that requires classification of recipients which is beyond the scope of conventional grouping and more than one source of messages is needed.

Based on the above practical observations made by us during our initial market research we are introducing two unique and dynamic features :

APP TO APP DATA INTEGRATION

One can register an account in M&M to design, add/edit content and build mobile applications. Therefore using this account in MakeandManage.com one could be able to manage the contents of its corresponding mobile application. By App to App integration, Menu created in one Application can be made available in another App.

In a large organisation or industry or department, there are different working divisions meant for different purposes. By using different apps for each division, internal communication of that division can be performed. Along with it, menus from apps of each division can be brought to a single app so that data from each separate division will be available at a single point. Hence updation of data can be done at its respective sources itself. On the contrary, central administration that coordinates these divisions can also have menus from their profile to different divisions’ apps, so that coordination and data sharing becomes more easy.

APP TO APP MESSAGING

By app to app messaging admin of an app can send messages to users of another app(s). This is done by tagging one or more apps to a master app.

Remember the team of 40 members working for a project. Consider the team is working in a MNC. The administrative structure of an MNC is divided into different departments say, Sales, Marketing, HR, Technical, etc. Each department has a hierarchy of administrators or managers. The whole departments are headed by a board of shareholders which conducts the central administration of company For effective operation of a department there will be separate apps for each of them. Department head can create different groups among the department employees to carry out internal communication. By creating an account for central administration team and tagging all the department apps to this central administration profile, admin of central administration can communicate with the users of all department apps, in effect all the employees of the company. From the perspective of central administration a different grouping of recipients are needed as compared with that of department level. For example, there might be a situation where the central administration wants to communicate with all the team leaders, where team leaders might be from different departments, holding various positions in the department administration hierarchy, in order to make this grouping at master profile a feature called sticky groups  are introduced.

Sticky Groups

The master admin can create groups in his profile which will appear on all the apps tagged to his app. The admins of those apps coming under this master can view this added groups and add respective members to them.

Thus by using App to App messaging and data integration, an employee/student of an institution/department or member of an organisation/community will be updated and connected with information and messages from various levels of their administration structure.
